Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help people recover from the effects of trauma, distressing life experiences, anxiety, and other emotional challenges. EMDR uses guided bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, to help the brain safely process and integrate difficult memories, reducing their emotional impact. Many people find that EMDR helps them feel less overwhelmed, develop healthier coping strategies, and move forward with greater confidence and emotional wellbeing.

Circle of Security Parenting

There are seven emotional needs that children are asking adults to meet. Watch over me, delight in me, help me, enjoy with me, protect me, comfort me and organise my feelings.
This is a program that focuses on supporting and strengthening parent-child relationships by guiding parents/caregivers through positive ways to respond to their children's behaviour.

Mentalisation Based Therapy

Mentalisation is the ability to understand others and one's own mental states. Our own mental states are influenced by our beliefs and determine how we feel, act and respond to the world around us. Mentalising helps to make sense of our thoughts and feelings and to link these to our actions and behaviours. The main goals of MBT are to improve mentalisation and learn emotional regulation.

Clinical Supervision

I have a passion for Clinical Supervision. I love sharing my knowledge and skills with supervisees and I love learning from them. I have supervised experienced practitioners and also new graduates in Child and Youth Mental Health and Adult Mental Health.
